Hi! I’m Jenn Hegel. I’m the owner/operator of B2WMT in Monticello, KY

I’m originally from Fairbanks, AK. In 2010 I decided to change my career path and went back to school to obtain my professional certificate in Massage Therapy. I graduated in January of 2011 and immediately went to work as a LMT (licensed massage therapist) in the spa environment. I eventually switched focus and began working in more of a medical massage capacity by joining a chiropractic clinic team. I worked in the clinic, focusing on clients that were either pregnant or injured (car accidents, falls, sports injuries).

I’ve learned several new modalities such as body wraps, scrubs and reflexology. I’ve also been lucky enough to take CEUs in Raindrop Technique from a certified CARE educator. (Center for Aromatherapy Research and Education, Inc.)

I moved to Monticello, KY in July of 2017. My massage studio, Back 2 Wellness Massage Therapy, is my first independent venture. I’m excited to be bringing my knowledge and experience to Southeast Kentucky. I can’t wait to work on alleviating your stress and pain through massage.

Hi! I’m Jenn Hegel.

I’m originally from Fairbanks, AK. I graduated from UAF in 2002 with a BA in photojournalism. In 2009 I moved to Anchorage, AK where I met my future husband, Rob. In 2010 I decided to change my career path and quit my job at UAA and went back to school to obtain my professional certificate in Massage Therapy. I graduated in January of 2011 and immediately went to work as a LMT (licensed massage therapist) in the spa environment. I eventually switched focus and began working in more of a medical massage capacity by joining a chiropractic clinic team. I worked in the clinic, focusing on clients that were either pregnant or injured (car accidents, falls, sports injuries). I worked there through the birth of my first daughter. I left massage when she was 6 months old to be a full time stay-at-home mom.

I rejoined to workforce when I received my massage license in Idaho, where we moved in 2012. I was lucky enough to be a part of the massage team at the #1 ranked day spa in CDA, Idaho. There I learned several new modalities such as body wraps, scrubs and reflexology. While in Idaho, I was lucky enough to take CEUs in Raindrop Technique from a certified CARE educator. My family and I moved to Monticello, KY in July of 2017. We now have two daughters and two dogs. My new massage studio, Back 2 Wellness Massage Therapy, is my first independent venture. I’m excited to be bringing my knowledge and experience to Southeast Kentucky. I can’t wait to work on alleviating your stress and pain through massage.
